- GRAPH A STOCK HELP SCREEN
-
- Selection D will graph a stock in either monochrome or color. The pres-
- entations are identical except for the buy, sell and hold signals on the
- daily trading bars.
-
- The screen is divided vertically in increments of five trading days and
- these divisions are marked with the appropriate date on the bottom of the
- screen. The screen is divided horizontally by the price closing over the
- thirty day history. These are in divisions of one, two, five, ten or
- fifteen points. The price is posted of the right hand side of the screen.
- There is room for three digits in this area, so if the price exceeds 1000,
- then 1000 will be subtracted from the display to fit it into the avail-
- able area.
-
- Running across the bottom is the relative trading volume for the stock.
- The algorithm for this presentation examines the highest trading volume
- for that stock during the thirty day trading history. This volume will
- be given the highest presentation and all other volumes will be adjusted
- relative to that volume.
